It is easy to categorize each business or industry into each element. Hence, we use to advise people to work in the industry that has their favourable elements or the Useful God element.

However, with so many jobs created in this century it may be difficult for a person to work in a particular industry without first giving some consideration to the type of field or role that he or she play in that industry. For example a Water person with the favourable element in wood may work in a publishing company according to industry categories. However, it is difficult for this particular person to sit still because of the water element nature. Hence, this person is suited in the field that has movement or requires travelling like marketing or sales.

Tips: You may want to choose a field of work according to your Useful God and the industry base on the strongest element in your chart.

So I have try to list down some of the fields that are related to the Ten Gods for easy reference purpose.

Marrying A Rich Husband, Anyone!

Recently my friend, Jessie, has posted an article titled, "What should I do to marry a rich guy?". You guys just have to read the answer, it is really hilarious.

However with today influence from romance movies and luv dramas especially from Taiwan and Korea, it is not surprising that many young girls would dream of marrying a rich handsome young man and live happily ever after. Welcome, to the fantasy world for those who love fairy tales.

In Bazi wise do you have what it takes to be able to marry into a rich family? Are you born with the kind of Bazi that you will eventually end up with a guy that has deep pocket?

Traditionally, there are few criteria to look in the Bazi of the lady with grace. Or you can say the gal who snatches a rich husband. Firstly the self (Day Master) of lady in question must be strong but not until it become domineering. Secondly, her Output Star must be of the Eating God Star because the other Output Star, Hurting Officer, will hurt the Spouse Star. Her Spouse Star must also be strong, of good quality and must not be clash, harm or touch in any way in Bazi wise. It should be the Direct officer Star and not the Seven Killings. Preferably, herself element is the yin polarity and the Spouse Star sits on the Spouse Palace. This would be perfect. Hence, her husband will need and love her. Lastly, the Resource Star must also be present because it represents helper or nobleman. It also represents your comfort in life. Hence, with it you basically would not have to work much. This conforms to traditional thinking of what a lady with grace's Bazi should be.

In today reality, the theory above is very much debatable. Take for instance the Eating God and the Hurting Officer Stars. The Eating God Star's natures are of good temperamental, will not be too showy and a bit shy. This is what the olden day's society wants in a wife. They were to stay at home, keep the home organize and take care of children, elder the in-laws. However, today the demand of a wife is much higher. You actually needed both the Eating God and Hurting Officer.

Basically, wealthy men are usually businessmen, entrepreneurs, go-getters who love the thrill of the hunt. They are tops in their field. They are often active, aggressive and competitive in their personal lives as well as their business lives. They are hard working. At the same time they play harder too. They expect the best because they give their best. And that is exactly what you will have to be to get a rich man to marry you: The BEST. You must be perfect that is you have to be fit, perfectly groomed from head to toe. Yes! You must have the look of those girls that pop-out from the Regency novels with the nails done, white teeth, hips wide and tiny waistline. If you read those kinds of novels, you will know what I mean. In short, you must epitomized grace and beauty. Hence, you needed the Hurting Officer to look slim and pretty and the Direct Officer as well as the Resource Star to give you some form of grace. Eating God usually will fall on the plum side because of their habitual good food and tasteful life style.

Grace Kelly is one of the good examples of grace and beauty. With beauty alone, she could have landed anyone. However, it was the ability to set people at ease, to manage events, to network on behalf of their husbands that made them valuable marriage material. If you want a wealthy husband, you have to be comfortable both in the spotlight (that is Hurting Officer) and on the sidelines (Eating God). There will be times when you will be thrust into the background while your husband is working through a deal or weathering a publicity storm. You will sometimes need to be your husband's digital memory card that is discreetly whispering to him who are the people approaching. Why he should pay attention to them. Other times, you need to deflect certain attention so that he can avoid someone making a nuisance of themselves, but it must always be in a nice way so that nobody feels insulted.

At times, you need to be thick skin too. You never know when he will need to be on good terms with someone, so you will have to be the one who are on good terms with everyone all the times. There are people who will call you gold digger or fortune hunter especially you were not born to a certain amount of wealth to begin with, or are uncomfortable with wealth. Hence, you will face even more resistance and criticism.

You need to be street smart and on your guard most of the time because you will learn a great deal about your man's holdings and business dealings, which could be turned against him if you are unwary. There are people who want to befriend you just for the purpose of getting information that will help them bring his empire down.

With the long list of functions above, I think it is hard work all the way. Where would the Resource Star come in to play the role of "you do not need to lift a finger to work" in the event that you marry a rich husband, I truly wonder. However you do need the Resource Star to act as Nobleman Star to you, given that many people you have to deal with. Since, the rich man that you wish to marry is working hard most of the time, finding a Spouse Star sitting at the Spouse Place is hard nowadays. With the amount of time these guys spend in the office and loving his work like all that is left to life, you may probably be getting a Seven Killing Star as the Spouse Star rather than the Direct Officer.

By the time I get to here, some of you may have come to realize that why some of those rich guys out there just married their personal assistant. Wouldn't you think it is much easier that way.

Still want to marry a rich husband? Well, I do wish you the best of luck if you say yes. However, I very much agree to the reply sign off by JP Morgan that it is easier to earn your own wealth than married into one. If by any chance you are already married to a rich husband and you do not in any way resemble a beautiful immaculate personal assistant, I guess you just have to employ one big fat good old-fashion nanny type of personal assistant for your husband. "Ugly Betty" is good! It will save you a lot of headache from the gold digger out there. J

Lunch Talk

An interesting conversation has ensued during our lunch break today. It is about date selection.

A guy colleague of mine says he do all his date selection base on the Chinese Tongshu. He doesn't go to a consultant to find a good date for his marriage because he finds it troublesome. He also mentioned that that in general all of them (referring to the Chinese Metaphysics consultant on date selection) use the same source so the end result will be the same. There is also this argument whether it should be the ceremony date to be selected or the registration date to be selected. For me I will choose the registration date because it is the date your marriage recognized by the law which I think is most important. However some think that the ceremony date is more important because the heaven blessed your marriage on that day with the eye witness of all your relatives and friends. It is so easy to solve this problem, just select two good dates for both of the activities. However, this is where all the excuses come in because everyone prefers convenience more than anything.

I also find out interestingly the one of my colleague who is going to get married this year end does not go through any date selection at all. She base her date on everyone convenient that is all her family and her other half family are on holiday so everyone are around at that point of time. She is a Christian so I am not surprise.

So in these two cases I do not want to preach too much what I think of date selection as I do not want to come across like Ms. Know-it-all and thou are wrong sales person trying to sell you service. Furthermore is all set and done. A few words of mine would not change their mind.

Back to office, a quick glimpse through the Tongshu as well as Dong Gong Date Selection shows that both of them have chosen a good day and an excellent for another, although it is not to the personalization of their Bazi. Chinese has a saying, "错有错处". It means something like "blessing in disguise".

Sometimes your luck will bring you to the place where you should be with the right timing too. But do you want to take the risk? It is up to the individual, I guess. To me if you want to maximize good result, I think you should have a good date selected by the specialist.

David Tao, Songwriter & Singer

David Tao is another Taiwanese's popular singer cum songwriter. He is born in 11 July 1969, time of birth unknown.

Being born in summer, his chart needs the water to cool it. Thus the favourable element is water. You would know by now if you have read some of the previous articles that travelling (water element) will bring him luck. His family came from Shanghai to Hong Kong and later travelled to Taiwan, and migrated to United States. His parents return to Taiwan when his father pursued a career in singing.

David Tao who followed his parents to United States stayed on until he graduated with a Bachelor degree in Psychology. He only returns to Taiwan when he is offered a job by the reputable Taiwanese producer, Wang Zhi Ping.

Being born in the month of Wei Goat, he has an Eating God Structure. Hence, he is more of a songwriter than a performer. It is not surprising that David Tao is considered as a prolific composer and songwriter. He has written popular songs for many popular artists.

In early days in Taiwan, he has started writing, and later producing songs which is the work of an Eating God. At the age of 28 in 1997, Ding Chou Ox year, he released his first album David Tao (陶喆). At that point of time he is going through a Wu Chen Luck Pillar. Wu Chen is a strong Hurting Officer Star because it is a pure Qi that penetrates to heaven. In the year of Ding Chou, it clashed the Wei Goat in the Month Branch on his natal chart. It has a destruction relationship with Wu Chen Luck Pillar as well. Therefore, if you want to kick-off some bad habits or want to have a complete change to your personality but doesn't seem to be successful may be going through a destruction period is not bad after all. However, this greatly depend on your Bazi Chart so don't do something funny, ya. :D

Simon Cowell and IL Divo

The Il Divo group composed of four singers that are Sébastien Izambard, Carlos Marin, David Miller and Urs Buhler. Il Divo means "Star" or "Celebrity" in Italian. The man behind the creation of Il Divo is no other than Simon Cowell. He is a famous music manager, executive and reality TV star.

What has brings these four persons together to work in a group? The most obvious, of course is fame and celebrity status. The other accompanied reason is likely wealth. It can be view as a business partnership as well. So we are likely to look into the Rob Wealth Star or the least, Friend Star of each individual natal chart.

Below is the creator of Il Divo, Simon Cowell's Bazi Chart, the guy that brings the Il Divo together. He has the most interesting Bazi Chart. He is born in 7 October 1959, time of birth unknown. Take a look at below. There is not output star in his up to the Day Pillar. Although there is possibility that the Output Star may be located at the Hour Pillar but in my opinion even if there is an Output Star it will be a minor one hidden in one of the branches.

So what is an Output Star? The Output Star is an expression star. It is the thing the thing you produce. The star represents creativity, bright and quick mindedness, and abilities to perform and rise to the occasion to achieve the extraordinary. So does a less than ideal or completely missing Output Star doom you to the inability to work and hence make a living? Simon Cowell's natal Chart has shown us otherwise. Despite the Output Star seems to be no existence, he still achieve greatness. This is because the other element that come to play an important role in his life or you can say that he has uses his other star wisely.

Cowell is well known for his notorious judgement, for his blunt and often controversial criticisms, insults and wisecracks about contestants and their abilities, or lack thereof. In American Idol he is also know for his bitingly critical comments and attitude. His co-judges, Ryan Seacrest, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson, tend to cut him off very quickly as well. His signature phrase, "I don't mean to be rude, but …" will always follow by a string of harsh criticism that sometimes makes audience boo him off.

He is so famous for his notoriety that each country's version of the Idol had attempted to come up with its own "Simon Cowell" type personality. Can you see his 7 Killings Star is helping his Direct Officer Star, Ji Earth on the stem of the Year Pillar. Rare occasions, indeed. His notoriety is giving him a good name and recognition in the industry.

Many of the reality shows that created by his company, Syco like The Idol, The X-Factor, Got Talent, American Investor, Celebrity Duets, Grease is the Word and Rock Rivals are nothing new or lack originality as well. It is the same idea that when through different packaging and repackaging. Even the idea to form Il Divo group is from listening to Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman's rendition of Con te partirò.
