Originally, I had my fact wrong. I thought the Indian Ocean tsunami happened in 2006 but later I found out it was in the year 2004. As I doing my research on the tsunami, I also found out that the year 2006 has a few volcano eruption as well as tsunami case in Java, Indonesia due to the earthquake on 17 July. However, the tsunami was not as deadly as the one happened in the year 2004. So I will keep this chapter short and only show you the pictorial images that I feel represented the Bing Xu year.

Looking at the Tsunami's Bazi Chart below, I feel it is easier to decipher a man-made catastrophe then a natural disaster. It warrant more studies and research to be done in the area (will do that later) J. However, I will try to explain some of the points I found may be the indication of what had taken place.

In 2004, Jia Shen, was a clash and controlling year where the Heavenly Stem, Jia Wood, was clashed as well as controlled by the Earthly Branches, Shen Monkey. The year pillar itself tells us the likelihood of natural disaster whereby the flows Qi is not smooth given the clashing element.

It was the year where an earthquake undersea that triggered series of devastating tsunamis along the coasts of most landmasses bordering the Indian Ocean. It was the second largest earthquake with a magnitude of 9.1 and 9.3 and one of the deadliest natural disasters in history. The earth quake is known by the scientific community as the Great Sumatra-Andaman earthquake. It is also known as the Asian Tsunami.

Interesting points to note:

• In the year pillar, the secondary Qi in the Shen Monkey showed the Wu Earth (i.e. India's & Maynmar's lithosphere plates) and Ren Water (i.e. ocean). If you link the two together, it illustrated an ocean lithosphere, in simple term, the seafloor.
  
• The Ji Earth (Day) and Jia Wood (Hour) on the Heavenly Stems is a combo and it formed an Earth element. Combo, clash and destruct indicate movement. This reveal to us there was an earth movement a.k.a earthquake. The year pillar told us that incident happened under the sea. It also triggered other earthquakes as far as Alaska.
  
• The real impact of the situation was on the branches. There was a half combo of Shen Monkey-Zi Rat (Shen Monkey-Zi Rat-Earth Dragon Combo) in the Year and Month Branches that formed water. There were also uncivilized punishments of Zi Rat-Mao Rabbit-Zi Rat (Month-Day-Hour Branches)
  
• The energy released by the earthquake under the Indian Ocean resulting a tsunami with waves up to 30 meters high (half combo of Shen Monkey-Zi Rat).
  
• Many were dead due to the tsunami (Zi Rat-Mao Rabbit-Zi Rat ) an indirect result from earthquake. Death toll came up to 230,000 people. Women and children account for the most compare to men (Yi Wood in the Mao Rabbit). The affected areas were in Southeast Asia and beyond, including Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, Maldives, Myanmar, Malaysia and others. It was very rare occurrence and it had only happened around 550 to 700 years ago as evidence of tsunami found by scientists. As such, many were unaware and thus taken by surprise by the high waves that swept inland.
  
• Besides the heavy death toll, the effects of tsunami (Zi Rat-Mao Rabbit-Zi Rat ):
  
  
  
  • Tradition & beliefs: In the affected region many tradition and beliefs that the body of the dead must be buried, in many cases, there were no body remained. Bodies were being buried in hurried for fear of disease. This caused further grief to the families and relatives.
    
  • Environmental impact: The tsunami has inflicted a serious damage to the ecosystem. It caused water pollution and poisoning of freshwater supplies. The deposit layers of salt by the seawater over the land causes the soil to become sterile. This in turn unable to support the micro-organism in the soils. Plants and vegetation died as a result of this.
  • Economic impact: The livelihood of the fishing community faced great losses due to damage of boats and fishing gears. They are some of the poorest people in the region. The farms and plantations were also damage by the seawater. Infrastructures around the coastal areas also being destroyed by the surged of waves. Countries like Maldives and Thailand's coastal area which depends on tourism also affected even though some tourist areas is not touch by the tsunami.
    
• Every cloud has a silver lining (Bing Fire on the Month Stem):
  
• After the tsunami, mass humanitarian aids were mobilized. Donation was seen pouring in from many parts of the world by the governments, charitable bodies and citizens.

• The extensive damage in Aceh, led the Acehnese separatist to declared cease-fire on 28 December 2004. This was followed by the Indonesia government. Aceh has been in armed conflicts for many years. [Two Jia Woods (Hour & Year Stems) in the chart signify fight over territorial] Both parties cited the tsunami as a justification for resuming the long-delayed peace talks and in 15 August 2005 they have signed a peace agreement which spelled the end of Aceh's internal conflict.

• The United Nation has started working on a tsunami warning system in the Indian Ocean and in 2005 the initial steps was in place. A united global tsunami warning system to be set up was also proposed.

The year 2003 was also the year that United Stated declared war over Iraq. Iraq was allegedly possessing of mass weapon of destruction. United States and it coalition allies, United Kingdom, Australia, Denmark and Poland, claimed that Iraq posed serious threat to the security of United States and Europe as well as the world peace. The reasons for the invasion were "to disarm Iraq of weapons of mass destruction (WMD), to end Saddam Hussein's support for terrorism, and to free the Iraqi people."

However, the United Nation has found no evidence of mass weapon of destruction. The United Nation Security Council did not even publicly authorised the war against Iraq. Many have protested against the war and suggested diplomatic solution instead but all this has fallen into deaf ear. The United States together with its coalitions when ahead with the war. President Bush used the 911's incident and the purported ties of Saddam Hussien with Al-Queda to promote fear and instigate d the war.

[There are no solid prove WMD in Iraq, but the citizens of US still supported the wars out fear – irrational thinking again in the Gui Wei year]

Saddam Hussein was captured on 13 December 2003 at a farm near Tikrit. At the point of his capture, he looked disorientated and disillusion [Gui Wei influenced], very different from those day when he still in power.

The war soon turned out to be a farce. No mass weapon of destruction has been found. Iraq was in chaos. There were massive civil disorder, including the looting of government buildings and increased crime to due an absence of law and order. The United States and United Nation tried to establish a stable democratic state that was capable to defend itself soon after President declare victory on 1 May 2003. However, this proved to be difficult tasked due to the increase of insurgent attacks. Although government was formed in Iraq, it still remains in unstable state up to now. [Influence of Gui Wei deception, massive civil disorder, and crime]

[The deception of the war, the fear of terrorism that had led to the Iraqi's war, human rights abuse during the war, Iraq, the country that unable to recover from pre-war were the influenced of Gui Wei year. When the water is being contaminated it takes a lot work and time to filter for clear and clean water again]

The United Nation described that Iraq was in "civil war-like situation" in 2006. Up till now, 27 November 2008, peace in Iraq remains illusive.

Gui Wei Year was a controlling year where the Ji Earth in the Wei Goat controlled the Heavenly Stem of Gui Water. Water mixed with soil become murky, unclean and muddy. It was a year that people easily infected with disease and fell sick. Epidemic easily happened. Disease was easily transmitted and spread to place as the water nature travel to every part of the world. The year 2003 was the year that SARS news broke out. The SARS epidemic also spread very fast from one infected person to another and from one country to another.

Water also represents thought, mind and wisdom. In the Gui Wei year, people were easily confuse, irrational, emotional and depress. Actions were also powered by greed or personal agenda. During this period, the China local government try to down played the situation to cover up their short coming as well as preserve their status. This caused many deaths and unreported SARS cases. In turn, it caused the SARS epidemic to spread rapidly as ignorance and no proper information were given on how take precaution. [Not a really wise thing to do]

As a result, the SARS epidemic became worst. Those living in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Vietnam were in constant fear as it became clear that they were living in the danger zone. Schools were being shut down and people were advised not to leave the houses unnecessarily. Hospital, banks and many other businesses were under minimal staff operations. The tourism industry was badly affected.

It was also the year where the famous Canton Pop Star, Leslie Cheung committed suicide by jumping out from the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, after suffering for a long depression. [Thoughts are clouded, irrational emotion and depression] He died in 1 April 2003. Despite the risk of SARS infection and the WHO's warning, many of his fans from every corner of the world such as China, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia, the United States and Canada, still travelled to Hong Kong to bid final farewell to their beloved icon on the public memorial service held on 7 April 2008. [It was not a rational action as the SARS was a serious threat]

At the end of the year, Anita Mui lost her battle to cervical cancer passed away on 30 December2003. Again I would say due to irrational thinking, she opted not to have an earlier treatment that might safe her life.

On 11 September 2001, 19 islamist terrorists on a suicide mission hijacked four commercial passenger jet airliners. Two crashed into the Twin Tower, World Trade Centre (WTC), one crashed into Pentagon and the last into a field near Shanksville in rural Somerset County, Pennsylvania. It was believed that the target of the last plain was either United States Capitol or White House.

I specifically extracted out that day bazi charts, one at 8.46 a.m. and another at 9.37 a.m. to see in detail.

World Trade Centre’s ChartWhat does the chart says?

1. The 9/11’s chart showed two Ding Fires in the sky or on high-rise.
2. Hidden combo of Bing-Xin formed water was found in the Year and Month Branch. Water denotes travel, movement & transport.
3. What type of transport? Bing-Xin combo showed transport made of metal and powered by fire or energy. Bing Fire, the sun @ 8.46 a.m. was high in the sky. This denotes transport in the sky likes helicopter, airplane, airship etc. While Xin Metal born You Rooster month is the most common type of metal. This indicated airplane, the most common mode of transport for people to travel by air. It also reveal four airplane involved in the 9/11 incident as represented by the metal elements.
4. Chen Dragon & Chou Ox (Earth) represents the twin tower, WTC. Chen-Chou was in destruction formation. Hence, it indicated WTC was being destroyed. There was another Wu Earth hidden secondary qi in Si Snake so another building was affected.
5. Wood feeds the fire denotes sacrifices. The wood is also not rooted in the chart, therefore, there was no survival in the planes crash. Though you may see the Yi Wood in the Chen Dragon, it was not the pure qi of Jia Wood and it explained a different situation where survivors were from the building (on the ground).

• The Islamist terrorist (bunch of idiots) who sacrificed their life for the Al-Qaeda’s missions (an act of barbarian).
• The innocent people who died in the incident. Total of 2,974 people died in the attacks excluding the 19 hijackers while 24 are missing and presumed dead. Estimated death toll reach to 6,000 people weeks after the attack.
• The rescue teams (411 emergency workers, 341 firefighter, 10 paramedics and 60 police officers) who were unable to evacuate on time when the building collapse.
• Friends & families who loss their love ones.

Pentagon's Chart

This chart was the same chart of WTC except the hour was changed to 9.47 a.m. It was the time when the third and fourth planes crashed into Pentagon and a field near Shanksville respectively.

1. Although there was still two Ding Fires in the sky but only showed one building was on fire.
2. There was also no destruction formation in the chart. The third plane crashed into Pentagon, and only one portion of the Pentagon was severely damaged by the fire and a section was of the building collapse.
3. Again the wood element appeared on stem of the hour pillar. However, this time it was Yi Wood instead of Jia Wood. Although the Yi Wood still feed the fire but now it also clashed with the Xin Metal. The Ding Fire also controlled the Xin Metal. According to Wikipedia, the black box recordings of United Airlines Flight 93, revealed the crew and passengers attempted to regain control of the plane as they got to know of the similar hijacked plane that crashed into buildings. As it became evidence to the hijackers that they were losing controlled, they ordered to roll the plane and later on it crashed into a field near Shanksville in rural Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
4. The chart only showed one Earth appearing on the branch while the other two were hidden. Therefore, the last plane was crashed into the flat land. The chart also showed two Wu Earth hidden in Si Snake. The hidden earth elements showed the other two possible targets which were either the United States Capitol or White House that did not materialize.

Let take a step back to history and see which 甲子 (Jia Ji), Annual Pillar, represented the down cycle of the world's economy or turbulence events.

1980-1982 Great Recession (1980 庚申 Geng Shen, 1981 辛酉 Xin You, 1982 壬戌 Ren Xu)

The early 1980s recession was trigger of by the energy crisis in 1979. It began to afflict the economy of the United States (US) with high inflation. The Fed Fund increased the interest rate to controlled inflation. The chained reaction effect slowly spread to other countries.

If you notice the 庚申(Geng Shen, 1980) and 辛酉(Xin You, 1981) is pure metal pillar. Metal represents the west. It clearly indicates the recession started in US.

Metal element can also represent financial industry and the government and politician. The recession had severe effect on the financial institution especially the banks, and caused the savings and loans crisis in United States. At the same time, President Ronald Reagan popularity also took a deep due to unpopular policies introduced to combat the high inflation rate and recession so much so the recession was called "Reagan Recession".

Subsequently, 壬戌 (Ren Xu, 1982) year, the problems spread to other part of the world as the Ren Water travel and able to reach to every corner of the earth. 壬戌, was a controlling pillar where the Earthly Branch, Xu Earth, controlled the Heavenly Stem, Ren Water. This indicated whatever the problems were; it will be under controlled. It was also the year where the recession ended.

1985-86 Slowdown (85 乙亥 Yi Hai, 86 丙寅 Bing Yin)

1985 was a mild recession or more aptly called a slowdown. The excess of supply caused many problems. As the demand from US slowdown reasonably, the Asia countries who export to United States faced excess supply. Subsequently, causing default in manufacturing industry. The hardest hits were the South East Asia countries as most of their products were exported to US.

乙亥 (Yi Hai, 1985) and 丙寅 (Bing Yin, 1986) were production pillars. However, you noticed that in the Ren Water in 亥 Hai Pig is not suitable to grow 乙wood. This means excess resources were being used to produce an output. Again in 丙寅, the Bing Fire does not need to the Jia wood in 寅 Yin Tiger. Imagine the sun does not need wood to make it brighter. In contrast the wood needs the sunlight to grow. This again indicated the supplies by manufacturers were not needed which resulted excessive supply while demand was low. However, both the 乙亥 and 丙寅 were still considered smooth qi (production) pillar, therefore the economic conditions did not exaggerate.

1987 Black Monday (1987 丁卯 Ding Mao)

Black Monday refers to Monday, 19 October 1987, when stock markets around the world crashed, shedding a huge value in that very day. The crash was trigger off in Hong Kong and spread west through to Europe, hitting the United States after other markets had already declined by a significant margin. Malaysia was not spare either. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index dropped 12.4% in that day.

The Black Monday's crash was shrouded with mystery. There were many contradictory reasons given to the sharp fall in the world stock market but it was mainly blame on program trading. Subsequently, whenever there is sharp fall in the stock market on Monday, it is referred as Black Monday until today.

1987 丁卯 (Ding Mao) was a production pillar. The 乙Yi Wood in 卯 Mao supported the Ding Fire. It is continuously in a burning form. Imagine a bush fire that spread rapidly. No one knows how it started but the wild fire licked everything that stood in its path. It leaved an everlasting mark.

1990 Gulf War (1990 庚午 Geng Wu)

The Gulf War started on 2 August 1990 and end on 28 February 1991. The United Nations authorized the war against Iraqi in Kuwait after Iraqi captured the Kuwait in the same year.

The 庚午 Geng Wu pillar contained Yang Metal and Ding Fire in the Wu Horse. It is controlling pillar. With 庚午 Geng Wu pillar, you can immediately imagine heavy fire arms and war were involved. In addition the reason to this war is found in the hidden secondary qi in the Wu Horse, the 己 Ji Earth. It indicated war over territorial issue and the rich crude oil found in that area.

1997-87 Asian Financial Crisis (1997 丁丑 Ding Chou, 1998 戊寅 Wu Yin)

The Asian financial crisis started in Thailand in May 1997. The Baht was hit by massive speculative attack. The Thai government action not to revalue the Baht quickly sparked the financial crisis in other Asian countries. Many Asian countries plunged into recession during the period. The Asian financial crisis raised fears of a worldwide economic meltdown.

If you look at the 丁丑 Ding Chou pillar, the wet earth Chou doused off the Ding Fire. The Ding Fire, represented by the financial and stock markets as well as the currency activity in Asia which was very active and positive at that time. The Asia's economy was riding a good cycle which quickly was disappeared due to currency speculative attack.

In 1998, 戊寅 Wu Yin, is a controlling pillar. The year was unfavourable to metal and water element. During this period, the International investors were reluctant to lend to developing countries, leading to economic slowdowns in developing countries in many parts of the world. By the end of 1998, the South East Asia countries were able to rebuild it economy and controlled the crisis.

However, the chained-effect flowed to Russia (Northern area represents by water) and US (Western area represents by metal) toward end of 1998. The shock of the economic slowdown sharply reduced the price of oil causing a financial pinch in OPEC nations and other oil exporters towards the end of 1998. This reduction in oil revenue contributed to the 1998 Russian financial crisis, which in turn caused Long-Term Capital Management in the US to collapse after losing $4.6 billion in 4 months. Subsequently the Fed Fund step in to control and prevent the wider collapse in the financial market by implementing the bail-out plan.

2000 Dot Com Bust (2000 庚辰 Geng Chen)

The dot com bubble was a speculative bubble that covered the period in between 1995 to 2000. The period marked the mushrooming of the internet based companies that commonly known as dot com in US (indicated by the Geng Metal). It finally collapsed in the year 2001. The share prices of these companies roused without any fundamental support. It very much likes speculating activities in the stock market which was represented by fire element. The element was unfavourable during 2000. The dot com bubble burst soon after in year 2000.

Jia Yin (甲寅) Day

Today is Jia Yin 甲寅 day. According to Dong Gong date selection it is an excellent day. With the presence of Heavenly Fortune 天富 and Heavenly Success 天成 stars, it is an ideal day for travelling, business meeting and negotiation and, signing contract. Depending on your Bazi, it may be also a good day for getting married or commencing business.

At the hour of posting, the good stars of Heavenly Noble 天乙 and Jade Hall 玉堂 are also presence. The Heavenly Noble star denotes the presence of helpful people who are of higher status while the Jade Hall star signifies an auspicious timing for asset acquisition. It also augurs well for activities related to financial and business matters that revolve asset transaction.

The Jia Yin 甲寅 day pillar is a pure qi of yang wood. It makes me wonder how Jia Yin 甲寅 day master people would look likes. An image just pop into my mind. Look on…

He is Bao Xishun. Bao, 57, was first recognised by the Guinness Book in 2005 as the world's tallest man. He has been described as a mellow, polite person and he is melancholy about life despite his giant size. I couldn't find his date of birth, so I do not know exactly if he is really a Jia Yin guy. Review of David Koh’s Feng Shui Talk 2009

I went to David Koh's Feng Shui Talk with my mom yesterday. I decided to write about it while it still fresh on my mind.

The crowds were small compared to other talks that I went to. However, I soon find out that most of them know each other quite well and they are very close knitted. I believe most of guesses are members of Malaysian Institute of Geomancy Sciences (MINGS). Some of them are also in very good terms with Master David Koh.

The talk started off with the sponsor, Kansai Paint, giving a short speech. At about 10.30 a.m. Master David Koh took to the stage and began his talk on the year 2009, Ox year. He called it the Bull year for 2009 because he expecting a slight rebound in the general stockmarket as whole in the beginning of the year.

He started off by explaining the Chinese Almanac (Tongshue) with the use of cow and farmer boy picture which slowly snowball into the macro-economic and predominance events in the world for next year. It is very interesting info. As he goes on, he highlighted his last year predictions which came true.

He also list down the whole year good dates for 2009 as well as how to remedy the Grand Duke (Jupiter) and Seven Killing problems if your main door is located in this sector. It is truly amazing as it is simple as ABC. He also showed you what you will likely see in the next 24 hours if you have done the remedy correctly.

In between the short breaks, there were Q&A sessions. After the lunch break, he shared many funny stories of Gods of Wealth as well as some comical experiences. I have noticed that as he told the stories and his experienced, he had subtly cleared the myth between fengshui and many Chinese's taboos. He is also a very much macro person as his talks were mostly on the big picture of the world events.

Quantum of Solace

Recently I have run into a few Ad on the new Bond movie, Quantum of Solace. Released on 6 November, I am sure some of you have already gone to see the movie by now. Those Ad has prompted me to look back some of the pass Bond's actors. A quick check on their Bazi show they all are of yin day masters except one that is Timothy Dalton. He was the only bond who did the entire stunt himself. Each of them with their own personalities has added a diverse character in Bond's character.

In film, Bond is portrayed as highly intelligent. He is a high-tech gadget geek but he carries it with style and confidence. Not even Batman can do it with that kind of styles. When comes to women he love them, leaves them once they become an inconvenience without an ounce of guilt. He is a permanent bachelor and a womanizer at heart. He isn't exactly a gentleman but he does dress like one.

Each actor has bought the Bond's character a distinct style:

[5] Pierce Brosnan	丁卯 Ding Mao	Brosnan was slick and smart, and carried natural charm in Bond. He had distinct style and class. He is my favourite Bond's character.
[6] Daniel Craig	辛未 Xin Wei	Craig portrayed a rakish insouciance guy. He embodied an ironic, cruel and cold character in Casino Royale.

Wu Zi pillar typically epitomizes secret agent activities or more aptly spying. 007 characters are very much of like Wu Zi pillar, elusive, obscure and indefinable. Quantum of Solace has drawn the curtain down for the year of 2008. Let us bid fair well to Wu Zi year as the Ji Chou energies begins to make it presence.

Peach Blossom Destruction (Part II)

Hi! I have found out who the fellow is. He is Prince Henry of Wales, affectionately known as "Prince Harry". A quick check on the date of birth at the WikiPedia confirmed his date of birth.

Here are some additional information about Prince Harry:

Prince Harry’s Bazi chart does not contain any Fire element. Fire element represents wealth to Ren Water person as well as passion and happiness. Basically as a prince he does not need to worry about money in life. Hence, the fire whether in his chart or not does not make any prominence. As for passion and happiness, when everything is set from the school you attend to the things you have to do in the name of duty since the day you are born, well it is very difficult to find any enthusiasm in life. So how can such person be passionate about things or a cause?
