Two Renowned Boxers

Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao are the two renowned boxers in the world.

Floyd Joy Mayweather, Jr. is an American professional boxer. He was rated by The Ring magazine as the number one pound for pound boxer in the world from 2005 to 2008. Manny Pacquiao, is a Filipino professional boxer and politician. He is a seven-division world champion, and the first boxer in history to win nine world titles in seven different weight divisions. He is also the first boxer in history to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes.

How do these two persons BaZi charts look like? What are their similarities or differences?

Floyd Mayweather Jr is born on 24 February 1977.

Manny Pacquiao is born on 17 December 1978.

Surprisingly, both share the same element as their Day Master [DM] which is water. While Mayweather is yang, Manny is yin. Both are considered reasonably strong with Floyd's DM sitting on the Zi Rat while Manny's DM is born in season. 

The water element whether is Ren or Gui denotes flexibility and quickness in reflexes. It also indicates an intelligent and analytical mind.

Both boxers are considered going through a luck cycle with some obstacles in store. Mayweather's Luck Pillar [LP] sees a Growth Star, the Hai Pig, while Manny's Luck Pillar sits the Peach Blossom Star, Mao Rabbit.

These issues will indirectly affect the career of these two renowned boxers.

However, we are much more interested in their boxing life than other part of their life. All martial arts and wushu are considered to be wood element, so are a lot of sporting games that can be classified into the wood too and boxing is one of them.

To be more precise each type of sport can be classified into a Jia Zi. I consider boxing under the Jia Wu Pillar with the Jia Wood and Ding Fire as the main elements to represent boxing. As you can see, both Floyd (Ding Fire on the Year Stem and Jia Wood in the Yin Tiger) and Manny (Jia Wood on the Month Stem and Ding Fire in the Wu Horse) are working in the essence of the Jia Wu elements territory. However, Mayweather's has a more distinct advantage in the sense that the season in his chart supports the boxing game (Jia Wu) while Manny is born in the season that is non-supportive.

Mayweather has a domineering character. In term of fighting skills, Mayweather likes to overpower his opponent with his brute strength and brutal attack. Manny has a slight advantage because of his changeability and speed. He is more on to tactical attack.

Who will win in a competition? In their current LP, it is hard to say as both going through some problematic luck cycle. However, in the competition time is the factor. A longer time frame in the fighting ring, will give Mayweather advantage over Manny due to his better stamina and strength. However, Manny can make a kill with a speedy attack.

It seems in the new that Mayweather is putting the fight on hold too many times with excuses. Is Mayweather losing confidence with himself?!
