I have always taught Donald Trump has Super Vibrant Earth Structure but he is not. This is because of the present of Wood element that controlled the earth in his Bazi Chart. He is born on 14 June 1946 at 9:51 a.m. Check out his Bazi Chart below.
He is born under Thriving Structure which makes him one good deal maker. If you haven't notice, his Bazi chart is completely missing out the water element. Water usually represent taught and wisdom in a person. If you are without one, then what?! Are you a complete nerd or an idiot? Of course not! Don't forget your Ten Gods in a Bazi Chart. Each of them plays a certain role and affects you in certain way.
Besides water, the Resource Star can also represent your thinking. Obviously, it is better to have the water element as well as the Resource Star so that the Bazi Chart has more balance in term of the five elements. Then the ups and downs of life would not be so jarring. Naturally, the best Resource Star is the water element. It gives one great abilities and flexibility in their thoughts. With the water as the Resource Star, you are blessed with the ability to think through problem easily. You seem to solve problem faster than others.
In Donald's Bazi Chart, the water element also represents his wealth. Does this mean he is dirt-poor? It is all matter of context. At one point, Donald considered the beggar who had just a few cents was wealthier than him. He is in multi-millions debts. Well, looking at his Bazi Chart you will notice that there so many Friend, Rob Wealth and Indirect Resource Stars which are the earth and fire elements. In addition the Wei~Wu combines to form Fire again. The Wei~Wu combination also known as the Sun and Moon combination indicates a person has a brilliant business skills.
Hence, the wealth star which represents the cold hard cash doesn't make an important role in Donald's life. I have another name for his Bazi Structure. I called it the OPM Structure a.k.a. the Other People Money Structure. He uses a very minimum of his favourable elements in his business and career dealings. As you know, Donald Trump is well-known in the deal he strikes in the property business. The Trump Organisation is a brand name in the property sector in US. He also has a celebrity lifestyle and image making him prominent figure in the entertainment industry. He is one of the well-paid TV personalities from The Apprentice. Hence you can say that he works in the field of his favourable elements in the earth and fire industry which are the strongest element in his Bazi Chart.
If you wish to know his favourable elements, they are water which is totally missing, Xin Metal found inside the Xu Dog and Jia Wood located at the Month Stem rooted under Yi in the Wei Goat.
So how does one use a field of favourable element in the unfavourable element environment? Using Donald Trump as an example:
1. Wood in the Earth Industry (US based Real Estate Developer)
Wood element is an Influence Star to Donald Trump. It represents his reputation and good name especially the Jia Wood which is the Direct Officer Star. According to Wikipedia, Donald Trump is paid by many developers for his name to be displayed on the buildings they developed. He does not own many of those building.
Wood element also represents his children. Forbes has mentioned that this portion of Real Estate Licensing in the Trump's Empire is actually run by his children and is his most valuable asset with a valuation of US$562 million.

2. Metal in the Fire Industry (Hollywood Walk of Fame)
The Xin Metal is present inside the Xu Dog which represents one of the Output Stars, Eating God, to Donald. Xin Metal natures love the limelight and glamorous appearance. Being the Eating God Star also means a perfectionist in work.
While Geng Metal is present inside the Si Snake which represents the Hurting Officer Star located at the Hour Branches show that Donald's aspiration to be a well-known performer. In his younger days, he has thought of joining a film school but has given up the idea to a more practical pursued.
Donald has been two-time Emmy Award-nominated personality. He has made many appearances as a caricatured version of himself in television series and films, e.g. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, The Nanny, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Days of our Lives, and as a character, e.g. The Little Rascals. He has also been the subject of comedians, flash cartoon artists, and online caricature artists. He has been a guest on various talk shows and other media.
However, he made the strongest impression in The Apprentice, a group of competitors battled for a high-level management job in one of Trump's commercial enterprises. His trademark catch phrase, "You're fired" made an everlasting impression on everyone who has seen The Apprentice.
It is also this TV reality show that gave his earning a boost from a US$700 for the first season to US$3 million per episode, making him one of the highest paid TV personalities. In 2007, Trump received an honor for his contribution of The Apprentice to television by receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Interesting to note is that the Metal through condensation by the Fire attracted the water element which is missing in his Bazi Chart. Hence, he is earning big bugs in the media and entertainment industry.
3. Missing Water
Although the water element does not present in the chart, it isn't completely missing. The Si Snake which contains the Geng as sub-Qi is still able to produce the water. Under the Six Harmony Combination, Si Snake naturally combines with the Shen Monkey to form water. The Monkey contains the Geng Metal. Geng characteristic are hardworking, tough and able to take hardship. It is also an Output Star and Nobleman Star to Donald Trump. His father, Fred Trump, has taken the role or in his action that is represent by Shen Monkey to compensate the lack of affinity between the father and son as a result of the missing water.

Childhood (1959)
At the age of 13, Donald was going through the Yi Wei Luck Pillar. The Wei Goat in the Luck Pillar in a destruction relationship with the Xu Dog. The Stem on the Luck Pillar revealed Yi Wood, a Seven Killings Star. This indicates trouble with the authority e.g. disciplinary teacher or law-enforcer. We further scale it down to 1959 in Ji Hai year, note that the Hai Pig (Annual Branch) clashed into Si Snake (Hour Pillar). Both the Hai Pig and Si Snake are Sky Horse Star, represent travel and movement. According to Wikipedia, Donald got into some trouble and was send to the New York Military Academy by his parent. Some other biography stated that his parent send him to the military academy so that he can learn to direct his energy and assertiveness in a positive manner as well as learned discipline and to complete his middle education. The Seven Killings Star can also represent the military academy.
Career (Early Success from 1968 to 1989)
1968 to 1989 spanned three Luck Pillars which covered Bing Shen, Ding You and Wu Wu in Donlad Trump's life. This is exactly the Autumn Luck Cycle which Donald has gone into. Autumn represents the Metal element which is the favourable element to Donald. Hence, you see his success in Bing Shen and Ding You.
Career (Financial problems from 1989 to 1997)
However, walking into the Wu Wu Luck Pillar proved to be quite damaging. The Wu Wu which is the pure Wu Earth element is the Rob Wealth Star to Donald Trump. Still, it is a metal period so you see Donald's fortune fluctuate widely in this Luck Pillar. You see using the Rob Wealth Star has it flip side especially if you have a prosperous Day Master which is what Donald Trump is. It is like two sharp edge sword that is able to fight for you and hurt you at the same instance. Donald Trump is the perfect example of Rob Wealth Stars fortune where fast heavily borrowed fortune and the fame that comes with it can very easily disappear if one is not careful. Hence when he walked into Annual Pillar of Ji Si in 1989 where fire element became exceedingly strong, the troubles began. The following two years proved to be toughest in his life.
According to Forbes magazine (Forbes April 3, 2000) estimated that Donald's increased debt and a drop in real-estate values caused him to lose more than two thirds of his net worth of $17 billion in 1989 to $500 million in 1990.
Toward the end of the Wu Wu Luck Pillar and the beginning of Ji Hai Luck Pillar, he began to negotiate and restructure his debt. He has successfully negotiated down his debt but his real estate business is heading for a decline.
Career (Resurgence and Financial Crisis from 1997 to 2008)
The Ji Hai Luck Pillar marked Donald exit from the metal period into the water period. In the water period, his fortune is actually mixed because of the lack of affinity with the element.
In 1997, Donald Trump seems to stage a come with several projects. The initial stage seem to look successful, however, it may the end result may not be so rosy. This is one of the possibilities that might happen when you lack the affinity with a favourable element.
Look at Trump projects during this period. Excerpt from Wikipedia: The Trump International Hotel and Tower - Honolulu seems to be a success. Construction of the Trump International Hotel and Tower - Chicago proceeds as planned although 30% of the units remain unsold. The Trump International Hotel and Tower – Toronto has had a series of delays and a height reduction. The Trump Tower - Tampa has been quite controversial because the initial sales were so successful that all deposits were returned to charge a higher price. Three years after construction of this controversial development began, construction has delayed and lawsuits have been filed. In Fort Lauderdale, Florida one Trump construction project was put on hold in favor of another (Trump International Hotel and Tower - Fort Lauderdale). Meanwhile,Trump Towers - Atlanta is being developed in a housing market which has the nation's second-highest inventory of unsold homes.
In 2008, Wu Zi year, the strong earth (Friend Star) again proved detrimental. At this point, Donald has gone into the Geng Zi Luck Pillar which is the height of the winter. The Zi in the Branches of the Luck Pillar clashed into the Wu Horse on Month Branch and harmed the Wei Goat on the Day Branch in his Bazi Natal Chart. In the Annual Pillar of 2008, same occurrence happened with his Natal Chart. In December 2008, he failed to pay a loan due to Deutsche Bank amounting to US$40 million due to property bust and financial crisis at that time. On 13 February 2009, Donald stepped down from the board od director in Trump Entertainment Resorts. On 17 February, Trump Entertainment Resorts filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.
While his good name in the business world is receiving a dent and his real estate business is heading south, his celebrity image has taken to a new level. In 2003, Gui Wei year, Donald became the executive producer and host of the NBC reality show, The Apprentice. It is a huge success.
Will Donald Trump, a name that is larger than life in the US real estate world, turns it tides and make a successful come back? Well, while a whole lot of people think that good fortune will bring you far, there is still 30% element of change that you can controlled. If you can feel Donald's passion and will power, you know he will max up this 30% in his hand. He summed his future in these few words, "Anyone who thinks my story is anywhere near over is sadly mistaken."
